I love CNN

It's true. I could watch CNN 24 hours a day. I never get tired of it. When Katrina hit in 2005, I was having terrible headaches and was off work for a week. (Turned out to be a kidney infection that I ignored for too long. I didn't know I had one.) For a week, I watched nothing but Hurricane Katrina coverage. It was great. Sad, but interesting to watch. I love all the political coverage right now and the games played by each side and the role the media plays. It's just an interesting study to me. I don't get sick of it at all.

This week is slightly less hectic than last week was. Abby's soccer practice was canceled on Wednesday and it was so nice not to have to rush around to take her somewhere. I was able to get my hair cut and colored and still make it home in time for dinner. I normally don't color my hair, but decided to do something fun for fall. I picked a dark brown with a red hue and I swear you can't even tell. I feel like it was a waste of money. I like the cut though. It's the same thing I always get.

I finished my homework for the week tonight. School is killing me this quarter. I have a paper due in three weeks and I really need to get going on it. My Fall 2 class - Business Statistics - starts at the end of October. I really don't know if I can keep up with school. I just hate to be a quitter. Everyone I talk to says they don't know how I do it and I'm finally getting to the point where I don't really know either.

This weekend is another busy one. Abby has soccer games on Saturday and Sunday and she has a birthday party on Saturday, which means I also have to find time to get a present. And I have to run. I'm behind in my running. I looking forward to getting two good runs in this weekend.

Seth gave my blog a shout out, so I will do the same. Read his blog. If it wasn't for all the sports nonsense it would be somewhat entertaining. :)
