Seth and I met my mom and grandma at my grandma's house before dinner. Adam and Abby beforehand. They were actually really good.

Saturday, Abby and I had to meet her Girl Scouts troop at 7:30 in the morning for Day Camp at Camp Tuckaho. I was kind of dreading it because I knew it was going to be a super long day, but Abby had so much fun.
This is her troop. Abby is on the right. They all had the polka-dot bandanas to help us keep track of them - there were around 800 girls there.
Abby and Hannah trading "swaps." Each troop makes these little pins that they trade with other girls at camp. They had fun doing that.
Me and Abby. Yes, moms had bandanas, too. I didn't realize until I looked at this picture how much I looked like a pirate with those hoop earrings on.

Ella, Hannah, Genevieve and Abby. Not only are these girls in the same Girl Scouts troop, but they are all in the same class at school.
The girls in one of the covered wagon "tents." Some of the older girls actually sleep here. Abby is on the left in the wagon.
Abby introducing herself to another Girl Scout during an activity. They had to introduce themselves to three people and tell one thing they are proud of themselves for. Abby said she was a good swimmer.

And that's it. Whew! That was a lot of pictures. For those who are keeping track, I was supposed to run a 5K on Sunday, but after Saturday's long day and a bachelorette party Saturday night (it was low-key, I was home with the kids by 11 p.m.), I could not fathom waking up in the morning. Seth has promised me that he will run a 5K with me the next time I do it. We'll see if he holds true to that because he hasn't run in a long, long time. I'm still planning for the 10K April 25. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'm really going to try to focus on running and being healthy this summer. It is so hard though. If you have any pointers, let me know.
Sunday afternoon I had to go to Hoover, Ala. for work. It was a 24-hour trip, but after flight delays and cancellations, it seemed like it took forever. Plus, I missed the Cardinals' opening day game on Monday since I was traveling. I don't have any other trips scheduled right now - thank goodness. I plan to try to find some balance and enjoy being at home for a while. Hope everyone is doing great. Talk to you soon!

Abby looks adorable in her bandana! I wonder if my mother-in-law was at Camp Tuckaho on Sat. since she's into all that GS stuff. Don't be too hard on yourself about missing the run. You are working out and running a lot and doing a great job at being healthy in general. You should be proud! See you Friday!

Great update! The pictures are so cute! And Opening Day was toooo cold to have fun, especially when they blew it in the 9th! Ugggghhhh!
