This weekend was really the first fall weekend we've had here in St. Louis and it was nice. We had a fire going Saturday night and the windows open on Sunday. It was so nice.
Adam's 3rd birthday is Oct. 12 and we had his party with his friends on Saturday at a pumpkin patch in Augusta, Mo. called Aholt Farms. It was a bit of a drive - 17 miles to Augusta - but it turned out so cute. There were 13 kids there and they got to have their faces painted, paint a mini pumpkin, hear a story, go through a haunted house, go through a straw tunnell, play on a straw pyramid with a slide, do a cannon shoot, ride bikes, ride a barrell train and go on a hayride. It was cute and Adam had a good time. He got some nice things that he has been playing with. He especially likes the Cars cars and the race track.
Abby and I were supposed to go see Miley Cyrus in concert tonight, but Miley got sick so the concert was postponed until Oct. 28. Abby was a little upset but at least it's been rescheduled.
Other than that, we've just been our usual busy selves. Abby is loving dance class. Adam is excited to be three. We're looking forward to Jenny and Kristian's wedding on Oct. 17. Can't believe Halloween is going to be here soon. I did get the kids' Halloween costumes last weekend. Adam is going to be Spiderman and Abby is going to be a Japanese princess. You know it's going to be Christmas before you know it - time is flying by.
I'll post pictures from Adam's birthday party soon. Have a great week.
